OBJECTIVE: With the help of developed communities the renovation of lakes through this that will be drastic improvement in day today life of middle class people in Shivamogga district.

GOALS: The farmers who were doing irrigation activities in 11 talukas of Shivamogga district , they should get proper water facility , to improve their production quality well as their economic status.

CONCLUSION: The community based lake management scheme was implemented in 11 Talukas of Shivamogga district for the renovation of 150 lakes , which will help the farmers of small scale landholders , who were doing agricultural activities around the lakes.
